On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Computer Science and Information Technology Students’ Association (CITSA) at the University of Cape Coast successfully held the Start-Up Right Seminar. The event aimed to help students navigate their new semester courses and provided practical strategies for academic success.

Highlights of the Event:

  • Understanding Course Structures: Insights into what each course entails and how assessments are conducted.

  • Study Resources: Guidance on recommended study materials and tools for effective learning.

  • Exam Preparation & Techniques: Proven strategies to excel in quizzes and examinations.

  • Decision-Making Guidance: Tips on potential academic decisions and their outcomes.

  • Special Session for Level 400s: Detailed guidance on Final Year Projects and Research, facilitated by TAs.

The seminar was facilitated by Research Assistants, TAs, Seniors, Academic Committee Heads, and Cross-department Representatives, providing students with guidance, mentorship, and motivation for the semester ahead.
